To start off, what I believe this quote means is that hard work will help you achieve your most important goal.Although if you don't work hard for it and you act dumb fool around and don't pursue that goal then nothing good will happen. For instance if you wanna buy something you've always want you gotta work hard for it to pay it off.This is why you have to write down everything that you want to do and see it often so you don't forget to keep practicing and not stop working hard. Then if you see it at least every day you will get a reminder that you have to do what you've been wanting most not what you want now.
