Also, it enhances a person's appearance, bringing out color and features and hiding or smoothing out flaws, using cosmetic products.Makeup artistry creates imaginative characters and special effects for films, television, photography and theater.

Salary:

$18,780 to $115,030 depending on location, level of experience and quality of portfolios.

Education:

Each state’s requirements to become a certified makeup artist differ. Some states have a separate license where an individual can specialize only in this field.
